Sept 5th
The day started out gloomy and went downhill, rain, lots of rain,
been a bit uninspired as well, nothing really jumping out, just blah.
A trip down to the garage to get some stuff out of the car and there she was in the window, the back lighting from outside making her almost a shadow. She was grooming herself after being in the rain. I ran back up to the house and grabbed the camera, figured she would be gone when I got back. She wasn't.
This is a bit different from the norm, her eye so big, fur rather fluffy from the grooming, the darkness and light.
Yea I like this:-) Oh and it looks much better full screen

on September 13, 2006Thusie, your heart must have been pounding when you came back and she was still there! This is one of those "WOW" captures. The paws together and the humble posture - no doubt delighted and honored to be photographed by you! Well done!

on September 6, 2006Thank you again, appreciate all the lovely comments.
Snappy a bit of curves in the k channel brought her up a bit more. Looked fine on my monitor but lost the shadow detail when I put it up on the net.

on September 6, 2006Gee, don't know how you did that without the flash. But, you did. The backlighting is wonderful and I just love the little hands.
