Use to futz around in this stream as a youngster. Tons of gas and powerline had to be cloned out. Didn't do such a hot job going across the tree tops. Took quite a while to do, there has to be an easier way.

  • Decided to play around with exposure and CS2.. Scary. Day 1 shot. Feb 28/06

Removed all the others but 3 and would like any advice about wires.
  • The is the origonal..Blah! Don's words of wisdom, "don't shoot the wires". Running down the Rd at 60mph doesn't leave lots of options
  • Aha I love this house and have since I was a child, so has my mother, so has Don.
Anyone running Rt 13 to Mt Vernon knows this place, it is called The Pines, not an official name just what it is called.
It has always been kept pristine, with the rocking chairs on the porch. Has always reminded me of the south, all that was missing was the live oaks. The most interesting thing about this place is you never saw anyone there, no cars, no sign of life, even my mother who is 80 said the same. The house sold a few years ago, the shutters are gone from the first floor, green paint? It looks rundown, it breaks my heart.

Thanks Vandana on the wires. The pop thing, got as much out of it as my limited talents could. Did use the magnetic lasso to add color to the rocks. If you want to play around with it feel free to do so.

Looks like you did a pretty good job with those wires! I won't have suspected if I hadn't seen photo #2!!It is a really nice composition here, but it might need some 'pop' - why don't you try the 'pop' tutorial in dgrin - it 'crushes' the blacks and really pops up your pic.
