Yea I like to play with stones and rocks. This actually serves a purpose and I was quite happy that my little engineering plan worked. Next up is a small waterfall, only when it rains, over the side of one of the stone steps.

Just playing around a bit outside with the 60 mm and decided I rather liked this.

Out with the 60 mm doing the flower thing and ended up with this.

Flowers, flowers and more flowers along with more CS2 silliness.

CS2 in the wrong hands is a dangerous thing.

Lord this guy is spooky! I just happened to be sitting down hill when he flew in. Birds eye view of a bird. Yes Rick today I'm smiling or at least more so than yesterday:-)

Just one of those days.

This is a shot I have tried to get for over a week. Why? Probably only a therapist would know except I don't have one.
I am now happy.

Better late than never:-) Last ditch effort for the day. Wind Blah!

A squirrel and her bone.

Just put a fresh bone out for the locals and everyone is taking turns gnawing. Once a bone gets too worn down someone carries it off, deer antlers get filched usually by day 2.

Fledgling jay that popped from the nest in the blue spruce, he is hanging out in our big Rhodie. His nest mate is branchin' it in the spruce. Parent jays are in attendance and no feedings were missed while I grabbed a few shots:-)

Ok a picture of me, well here ya go
I'll get mashed for this. Late, worked in the yard all day, a late stab at my DP shot. A candid of Don admiring the work he did on the drive and a real good reason I don't do people shots.

This is the first time he has taken 5 days off in ages. Never slowed down even tho it was 90, but hey he is a machine repair guy in a foundry, 90 is 'nothin'.
 • May 28th

A bit of morning light.

I asked Don to choose the DP. I liked the one below better
Flowers for the season. Fairly good day photo wise, had fun and that is the important part.
This youngster was just way too fun to watch as he munched on Don's dwarf cotoneaster. Totally oblivious to me snapping away it was a fun back yard shoot. Don was/is not impressed:-)

Here is a link to the mini series, you might find it interesting, or not. Just hit 'next' up at the top left to view all the shots. Oh and could someone pleae tell me how to link by just a word? Pretty please?
Very cool idea! Looks like a lot of work you put into the composition. Just a minor thing: I find the white thing in the top left just above the bridge a bit distracting.
