Late on this, bit under the weather and I fell asleep:-) First shot at one of these guys and it is a pretty big crop. The fence on the right is something you see quite a bit of this time of year at Dawes.

A quick trip to the Muni building to pay the water bill yielded this shot..Had to come home and look up what it was/is,an American Golden-Plover.

Adult male Goldfinch and two youngsters in the process of being fed and being shown how to 'do it' on their own. Bit of noise in the BG, no time to make any adjustments to the camera, still pleased with the shot:-)
