Very nice trip. Rather constant motion for 2-1/2 days, I'm tired:-)

This little birdie was hanging on to that branch for dear life..40-50 mph wind gusts..Yeow. Was a real experience haveing the 400 out in that:-) Large crop.

Outside flower shot on that wind, no talent just burst mode and luck. Sq fix shots in the usual place:-)

Went down to the privacy fenced area this AM and there were tons of birds, all kinds, feasting on the various natural food that are planted. Ran back up to grab the camera, when I got back down the only one left was this female sq.

Where I spent my day..sigh

I uploaded this last night and it showed mt DP as updated,the shot never showed up.

This is just about Don's favorite person. David is a long time propagator of unusual and dwarf conifers, all around great guy as well. He always has new, or potentially new, unnamed conifers that won't be in circulation for years if ever.

So on one of the nastiest days of the year Don decides he needs a conifer fix and off we go. That little pile of stuff David is standing over is Don's haul for the day, a light one I might add:-) I also had to get a couple goodies, so in that mess is a Ginkgo called Munchkin, only gets about 2' tall and a J Maple not often found in cultivation. Just to give you and idea Don can spend darn near what a chunk of good Canon glass costs and fit it all in the Jeep w/o even putting the back seats down:-)

This is just nuts and one of those I had to shots.
These sneeks have been hanging on that wire for 3 years. AEP had poles and wires in the area replaced, shoes would go right? Wrong.
