Mallard pair on a muskrat den.

I was told last summer we had a wetlands in the village. Knowing our village I figured a mud puddle and a couple cat tails. Oh how wrong could I have been?! Not large but it is protected and extremely nice.

As a few of you know I'm having some off and on equipment issues, posting may be spotty for a few days.

Driving around looking for what ever, Don says 'deer always come out of that woods about dusk'. As if by magic there they were:-)
These guys were about 200-250 yards out so a real stretch, shutter was 1/80. Luck is a wonderful thing.
